Netpoint Manager – Tasks Management

 

After creating and running a task, you can make some actions on it:

First open the tasks explorer :

Click  “View” –> “Show Tasks”

There is a list of all tasks created.

1. Removing a task

Select a task or some tasks, right-click on it, and click “Remove”.

2. Reply a task Select a task, right-click on it, and click “Properties” (Or double-click on it ). A new window opens.Check the “Edit task” check box. Now you can edit the task properties.

 

 

To run the task again click the “Apply” button.

Note: When replying a task, It won’t add a new task to the task explorer. It will add an iteration to the same task .

 

3. View task status and history

Generally, the task status can be viewed in the Tasks Explorer:ID,Name,Type,Iteration number,Progress status, Etc.
To view It more detailed:

 

Select a task, right-click on it, and click “Properties” (Or double-click on it ). A new window opens.

 

 

 

Click on “History” tab.

I order to see a iteration status choose the iteration by clicking the arrows .

In order to view the history of all iterations and task steps click on “Show history” button .

A new window opens.

4. Duplicate a task

Duplicate a task when you want to run it on different clients .

Select a task or some tasks, right-click on it, and click “Duplicate”.

Edit it ,and run it.

Note : When duplicating a task it will create a new task with new task number, unlike replying a task.
