Netpoint Manager – Plugins – Widgets – Event Logs Browser

With Event Logs Browser you can query the client about event log data.

After getting the data, you can also filter it by keyword.

 

For example : You want to know about all reset events on specific a client in the last week.

Just find the relevant EventID, fill it in the query with other relevant parameters, and run it !

 

1. Get the events logs

To get Event logs :
1. Click “Plugins” –> “Widgets” –> “Get Event Logs”

A window opens.
2. Click on the “Get Event Logs” tab.

3. Now fill in the query parameters:

Logged : Select log time range. There are some default ranges.

you can also select “Custom range” and type the range manually.

Event level: Select at least one level.

Event logs: Select the log name.

Event IDs: If a specific ID or IDs are needed, you shell define it here.

User Names: If a specific username/s are needed, you shell define it here.
4. Select clients. Schedule it if needed, and press the “apply” button.

 

2. Go over the results

After task is finished we can view the query results.

Open the “Event Logs Browser” tab :

Click “View” –> “Event Logs Browser”.

Select a client. Now all results are viewed in the table:

You can use the filter in order to filter logs by particular text.

Note: The filtering is relevant for all table values.

Put the filtering text and press “Enter” key.

It will display just the relevant rows.
